Hi, Drew. I was hoping you could explain any difference, if one exists, between the Blue Dragon Portable Mini Cable (mini-RCA) and the Blue Dragon Portable Interconnect? Would any differences that may exist influence sound quality? Thanks so much for your help.

This is the New Blue Dragon version 2 portable player cable. It can be used to connect portable cd players, IPods, etc. to your Headphone Amps or to any audio system without any loss of quality to your signal.
If you listen to Rock, Alternative, Rap or Techno etc, then this is the cable for you.

The Blue Dragon Portable Interconnect uses twice the wire as the Blue Dragon V3 Portable Mini Cable. The Blue Dragon V3 Portable Mini Cable utilizes an entire run of Blue Dragon V3 wire whereas the Blue Dragon Portable Interconnect Cable utilizes a single run for both channels. The Blue Dragon Portable Mini Cable is more flexible for smaller systems where tight spaces are a constraint. The Blue Dragon Portable Interconnect is recommended for the home system where the highest quality is desired and flexibility and ergonomics are not a concern. The Blue Dragon Portable Interconnect has less channel interference since the right and left signals are separate and the result is better clarity and definition and a little more bottom end weight to the sound. The same basic definition can be said for the Silver Dragon V3 Portable Interconnect versus the Blue Dragon V3 Portable Mini Cable.
The Silver Dragon V3 Portable Cable results in better clarity, definition and a little more bottom end weight to the sound. Dual runs of the Silver Dragon Wire are used for the Portable Interconnect Design.
A variety of connection options are available for your downstream connection such as the mini plug, RCA, XLR and many others. We custom build these in house to your connection specification.
